Status: Operational. Phase 1 complete. 1.38 million TEUs handled in Year 1 against 1 million target. Phase 2 construction began January 2026. Full capacity (3.3 million TEUs) expected Q3 2028.
NH-66 Six-Lane Highway
Status: 95% Complete. Thiruvananthapuram to Thrissur fully open. Thrissur-Kozhikode completion September 2026. Kozhikode-Kasaragod full completion Q1 2027.
Kochi Metro Phase 2
Status: Under Construction. 68% complete. Petta station Q4 2026. Infopark terminus Q3 2027.
Kochi Water Metro
Status: Fully Operational. All Phase 2 routes running. High ridership on Vypeen, Mulavukadu, and Mattancherry corridors.
K-FON (Kerala Fibre Optic Network)
Status: Backbone Complete. Focus now on last-mile connectivity to individual households and government offices.
Silver Line (K-Rail)
Status: Cancelled. Officially shelved by UDF government May 2026. Railway quadrupling under RITES study as alternative.
Kannur International Airport
Status: Operational. Terminal expansion Phase 2 underway. International routes expanding with Gulf carriers.
