For Kerala nurses considering a career in Europe, another group has moved closer to Germany through an official recruitment pathway rather than a private overseas-placement agency.
Kerala’s Public Relations Department reported on 28 July 2026 that 12 more nurses received employment contracts after completing German-language training through the NORKA Triple Win Kerala programme.
The programme connects qualified nurses from Kerala with employers in Germany through a structured recruitment and preparation process.
What is Triple Win?
Triple Win is an official Kerala-Germany recruitment pathway involving NORKA Roots, Germany’s Federal Employment Agency and GIZ.
For selected nurses, getting the job is only one part of the journey.
Candidates also need German-language preparation and must complete the professional recognition and immigration requirements needed to work as a nurse in Germany.
Under the programme, German-language training is provided before departure, with B1 proficiency required before entering Germany and continued language learning towards B2 after arrival. Employer interviews and placement support are also part of the process.
Why these 12 contracts matter
Twelve contracts may seem like a small number when viewed on their own.
But the more useful story is that they represent another group progressing through a recruitment system that has been operating between Kerala and Germany for several years.
For aspiring nurses, that is important because overseas recruitment can be difficult to navigate. Language requirements, qualification recognition, employers, visas and documentation all have to come together.
An official programme does not remove that preparation, but it gives candidates a clearer route through it.

Nurses interested in future Triple Win recruitment should not wait for the next vacancy announcement before getting organised.
Keep nursing qualifications, registration records, employment certificates and other professional documents up to date.
German is particularly important. Even a qualified and experienced nurse will need the required language ability to progress through the programme and eventually work effectively with patients and colleagues.
And when recruitment opens, use official NORKA or Triple Win channels rather than responding to someone simply promising a German nursing job on social media.
